A Journey through India: Photo Gallery from India Fest 2019 in Knoxville, TN.

Yesterday, the Hindu Community Center of Knoxville hosted its annual India Fest. This was the first year the event took place in World's Fair Park; in previous years it was held at the HCC. India Fest is a free event with dancing, a fashion show and cooking demos performed on stage. Food, jewelry, and outfits are available for purchase at booths around the event. There are also booths for henna, yoga and games. At the end of the event, a large flashmob dance is performed - a video of the dance routine was shared on the event's Facebook account weeks prior, so that attendees could learn it beforehand.
